Fundraising has begun for the 2023 January-March School Term for the Pillars children. Many of the girls and boys have grown a lot in the past several months and are in dire need of clothing including new school uniforms. In addition to uniforms, they also need school supplies and tuition fees. Of the 55 children at Pillars, 21 are currently sponsored. We are very grateful for our faithful sponsors and because of their ongoing support, we are able to provide food, medical care, hygiene items and cover some of the education costs. Currently, however, we need to supplement with fundraising efforts such as this Education Campaign and our Virtual Race for Education in order for all of the children to be able to go to school. It costs approximately $6,500 each school term and there are 3 school terms in a year in Uganda.
